Alon is currently affiliated with Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas.
Research interest while at UT Austin: Fouling in porous water treatment membranes, with a focus on developing novel anti-fouling and chlorine resistant membrane coatings, as well as fundamental modeling of fouling mechanisms.
